George Russell is a man of motto “If in doubt, go flat out”. With just four years in Formula 1, he has caught the eye of almost entire Formula 1 universe. Russell was born on 15th February 1998 in King’s Lynn, England. George Russell height is measured at 6ft. He was Formula 2 World Champion in 2018 which bought him a seat in Williams Formula 1 team in 2019. Currently, he is driving for Mercedes AMG alongside Lewis Hamilton.
In his Formula 1 career to date, George Russell has exemplified it by outqualifying his seasoned teammate Robert Kubica at all 21 Grands Prix, bringing Williams back to the podium in 2021, and securing a racing spot with Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes for 2022. Russell accumulated trophies on his journey to Formula 1 thanks to his excellent baseline speed.
Seeing his promise, world champions Mercedes swooped in to sign him up for their junior program in 2017. Before securing his Mercedes-powered Williams race drive, he accumulated further experience by participating in practice sessions with Force India and tests for the Silver Arrows.
He didn’t look up while competing at Williams in 2021, earning his first points and podium, but he was still focused on the bigger prize. That reward came in the form of the opportunity to compete against fellow countryman and seven-time champion Hamilton in identical equipment after he had shown himself to be a diligent worker and a tenacious talent.

In Barcelona, Russell won his first feature race of the year after outdueling Nyck de Vries and earning his second victory of the campaign.
After a season-long fight with fellow Briton Lando Norris, he would later go on to win the title with a victory in Abu Dhabi. With his victory, he joined Hamilton, Hülkenberg, and Leclerc as the fourth rookie F2 champion to win both the F3 and F2 championships in the same year.

He qualified at P2 and led most of the race, but due to mechanical tyre error he was dropped down but recovered soon after. Later he got a puncture and finished his race at P9, scoring his first ever Formula 1 Championship points.
