Former Indian skipper Virat Kohli has been announced as ICC Men’s Player of the Month winner for October 2022 for some outrageous performance in the shortest format of the game.
Apart from Virat Kohli, Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza and South Africa’s David Miller were also in the contention of ICC Men’s Player of the Month winner for October 2022 but the Indian batsman beat them to claim the title once again after his poor performance for past couple of years.
The so called “King” played only four innings in the month of October but managed to clinch the ICC Men’s Player of the Month winner for October 2022 as he played three remarkable innings. And the most special one 82* against Pakistan in T20 World Cup being the most pressure game of all.
India didn’t get the most promising start against Pakistan as they dropped 31/4 while chasing 160, but as it is said that Kohli performs better under intense pressure. He produced a magical 82* from 53 deliveries to direct India home in a nail biting last ball contest. Kohli also confessed in post match presentation that it was the best T20 knock of his career.
